Mom's Paintings
Since I remember, mom has painted countless things like flowers on tableclothes, on clothing, or a few tiny strokes to fix the color of an area in a canvas or any fabric. However, if we have to talk about a common pattern, painting nature is what she likes the most. I thought I would just share her art...

Before and After in Progress
I paid only $30 for this dresser that comes with a mirror that you can see below (in "before" stage). Believe it or not, the lines around the drawers and the knobs' color were an attempt of a gold color which turned somehow brown...
I used oops paint and gave it two coats. I changed the knobs for white ones that I had put aside a long time ago!
I am hoping to get to to the mirror soon, the weather has been bad and not a good friend...

First Post
Hi there...
Decisions, decisions, decisions...and creating this space was one of them.
I am very new at blogging so it might take sometime to get around the whole concept, but better late than never, right?
I am Vicky, a native from Chile with a need to share and learn from the world around us and what is valuable to keep for the future. I still remember the times when there was no internet and could not imagine the explosion of social media and the creation of sites such as Facebook or Pinterest. Back then, my social media was a couple of friends from school and very few block neighbors...of course, and my dolls. Times have certainly changed and here we are communicating with not only words, but also images, videos...well, virtually anything.
I am here to learn while admiring what others share and how they give the word "creation" a new meaning and level so simply welcome.
